Ghanaian market women and business owners are making money out of lockdown in Ghana. Nana Akufo Addo, the president of Ghana has call for lockdown of Accra and kumasi to control the spread of Corona virus, which taken over the country.
On Friday 28th March, 2020, the President of Ghana announced a 14 days lockdown of some cities and town in Ghana to be able to control COVID-19 which is starting from 30th March, 2020 at 1:00 am. The lockdown has affected the price of goods and services in those affected areas, because the demand of those goods and services are high.
People staying in the affected areas are stocking foods to be able to survive for the 14 days lockdown, so that has increased the demand for that particular products, Ghanaians are calling upon the presidents to aid in price controls, so everyone in those affected areas can afford.
